Once again, Recep Tayyip Erdogan stretches the rope and challenges Greece.

Today, February 19, the Turkish President, in statements to his party MPs, is said to have said that "developments in Idlib and Libya may be a cause for warming the waters in the Mediterranean. "The United Nations can no longer remain indifferent."

According to DailySabah, Erdogan said that "our resolute stance in the Mediterranean has begun to be accepted." "As a result of Turkey's strong stance, the status of the agreement with Libya in the Eastern Mediterranean is gradually being accepted by the parties concerned, including Greece," he said.

He continued: "The Turkey-Libya memorandum reaffirms Turkey's rights in the Eastern Mediterranean in view of unilateral drilling efforts of the Greek Cypriot side", clarifying that the pseudo-state also has rights in the region.

"Greece initially did not welcome the agreement and even considered it a violation of its own rights, although international law considers it something different," he said.

For Russia, the Turkish President reportedly said that they expect it to fulfill its promises for Idlib, while for the S400 missile system, the Turkish Stream, the trade relations between the two countries and the Sochi and Adana agreements, he said. how they are separate issues.
