Erdogan: "Big countries want to buy our planes"

Major countries are asking to buy planes made by Turkey, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has claimed.

In a speech to the Commonwealth, the Turkish President said that the domestic defense industry has reached 80%.

"We built our planes, we built our unmanned aircraft, we built our armed aircraft. Now we go further. Now, do you know who wants these from us? There are big countries that said they could not build them and now they want to buy these planes from us. "Where we were and where we arrived," he said.
