Leading American epidemiologist Anthony Fauci told CNN on Wednesday that it would take "at least two months" for a vaccine to be approved. Covid-19 for children under 5 years.
Earlier, in an interview with CNBC, Mr. Fauci estimated that the Omicron mutation in the United States is expected to peak by the end of January.
"I would say that, given the size of our country and the differences between vaccinated and unvaccinated, the peak is likely to occur after at least two weeks, most likely by the end of January," said the American epidemiologist.
