The death toll from Typhoon Kalmagi in the Philippines exceeded 90 today, according to official figures collected by Agence France-Presse for this disaster that caused floods of rare severity.
The spokesman for Cebu province (central Philippines) told AFP that another 35 bodies were discovered in a coastal village, raising the regional death toll to 76.
The civil defense service had previously confirmed the death of at least 17 other victims in the rest of the country, bringing the total toll to 93 at this stage.
