A woman from Florida is accused of throwing a bucket of feces in the face of her landlady, while she claims that she wanted to throw a bucket of water at her but confused the buckets, as reported by the New York Post, citing the Miami Herald.
Authorities in Volusia County, Florida, were called to a caravan in the Osteen area on Saturday, where they found 59-year-old Joanne Mercader with feces that had now petrified her face, and another woman full of human impurities.
Mercader initially told police her landlady had thrown a bucket of feces at her to evict her. "She entered the caravan and attacked me," she said, trying to explain her appearance by claiming that her landlady took the feces and rubbed it on her face.
But the police were not convinced, especially after they were informed that there was a dispute between the 59-year-old and the 65-year-old.
"I've been doing this job for a long time, I've never seen anything like it, okay?" the policeman is heard to say according to the material recorded by the camera he had on him. "I do not dispute what you tell me but she has feces dripping from her, you do not…"
Mercader later reported that she had accidentally dropped the bucket of feces on her landlady as soon as she entered the caravan.
"He claimed he wanted to use a bucket of water but confused the buckets," the police officer wrote in his report on the incident.
The victim told police he had previously arranged with Mercader to "check for broken items inside the caravan".
Mercader faces charges of assaulting a person over the age of 65 and was released, with the order not to make any contact with the victim.
