Horrifying incident: Dogs killed newborn twins

The tragic incident, in which the two 26-day-old babies were killed, happened at their home in northeastern Brazil on Tuesday.

The two newborns were in their bedroom when they were attacked by two dogs, a labrador and a foxhound.

Their 29-year-old mother, who had been trying to conceive for nine years, heard the twins crying, but when she entered the bedroom it was too late as the dogs had inflicted fatal injuries on the two babies.

One of the babies died instantly and the other died at the hospital.

Relatives of the family claim that the dogs did not receive much attention after the birth of the twins, attributing the attack there.
