The Lamborghini company presented today to Pope Francis a brand new special edition of Huracan. No, the Pope will not run on the track with the car of the dreams of thousands of friends of the car, but will put it up for auction to raise money for charity.
The impressive white sports vehicle has golden lines and was found this morning in the Vatican to receive the blessings of Pope Francis.
The money raised will be used to rebuild Christian communities in Iraq following the suffering of Islamic State.
"Our goal is to allow displaced Christians to finally return to their roots and regain their dignity," the Vatican said in a statement.
The basic price of a Lamborghini Huracan is 183 thousand euros. However, the special edition of the car, which was designed for the Pope and has his blessing, is expected to raise enough money for its intended purpose.
