Australia has deployed "military resources" to the Middle East in response to the war sparked by the US-Israeli attack on Iran, the country's Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, announced today.
"We have deployed military resources as part of our contingency plans that we put in place at the beginning of the week," Albanese told parliament, with about 115.000 Australian citizens in the region.
He did not specify what the military assets in question were, while Australian media outlet SBS News announced that they were airplanes.
