A senior Hamas official today hailed Israel's cease-fire deal with Hezbollah in Lebanon and added that the Palestinian movement is also "ready" for a truce with the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
"The announcement of the cease-fire in Lebanon is a victory and a great success of the resistance," this official of the Hamas political office told AFP. "Hamas is ready for a ceasefire agreement and a serious prisoner exchange agreement," he added.
