Hamas handed mediators a list of 25 Israeli hostages still alive late Sunday night, out of the 33 to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire, a senior Palestinian official told Reuters.
Israel received the list from the mediators.
Reports from the previous days reported that Israel believes that 25 of the 33 hostages scheduled to be released in the first phase are alive.
With seven of them having already returned safely to their homes last week, this means that 18 of the remaining 25 hostages are alive, while eight are dead.
