A shocking photo was taken by an Israeli couple who had visited the music festival, which was bloodied by Hamas militants, near the Gaza Strip. While awaiting their deaths, they sealed their love with a kiss.

Amit and Nir were among the youths who were with a friend, Ziv, at the festival when Hamas militants opened fire, killing at least 260 people.

The pair fell to the ground and hid in the bushes waiting for armed Hamas terrorists to discover them and execute or capture them. Not knowing if in a few minutes they will live or die, they took a touching selfie with the two of them sharing a final kiss to "seal" their love and leave a memento of it if they were to pass away.

They finally survived and published the photo – a symbol

Both eventually survived the carnage and two hours later their frantically searching friend called to say he had been rescued and was with another group of people.

Amit posted the photo with his partner less than 24 hours later, describing her experience: "You hear the bullets whizzing by and people are just falling... and the terrorists behind us circling everywhere on motorbikes just trying to kill." .

"When I tell you that I don't have the strength, you tell me that I have no other choice and that we have to keep running," she said and added that she didn't stop running with her partner until they found the bushes.

“The shots went over my head. The terrorists were passing by and shooting and we are doing everything not to move," he emphasizes.
