France abolishes the words "father" and "mother"

To remove these words in France, at least in the official documents of children

Father mother. These two specific terms are being abolished in France, at least in the official documents of children, in the name of political correctness and with the aim of combating racism against homosexuals.

Specifically, the French President and his party, with an amendment tabled, promote the change of the family details of the children, replacing in the applications for enrollment in schools and in all official applications, the "Father Name" and the "Mother Name" with the terms "Parent 1 "and" Parent 2 ".

Through this regulation, an attempt is made by E. Macron to put an end to the discrimination based on the erotic-sexual choices of the people and they have a legal status - either by a civil marriage or by a cohabitation agreement. The rationale for the amendment is that the new reality imposes a new approach to a hitherto self-evident issue and to address the problem faced by a gay couple in the face of filling out an application for which of the two men or women will be registered in the name. of the father and who in the name of the mother.

The amendment was discussed in the French Parliament and Minister Valerie Petty, who raised the issue, explained that "it is anachronistic to distinguish families" based on the gender of their parents. The relevant decree states that "For non-discrimination, school enrollment, school lists, parental authorizations and any other official document concerning children will include only the words Parent 1 and Parent 2".

This measure is a continuation of the 2013 law on legal equality of marriages between heterosexual and same-sex couples.

The amendment provoked reactions both in the conservative circles of French society, but also in the reaction of the president of same-sex parents who said: "Although we want to welcome the event, because it allows us equal participation in the relevant documents, something that was not the case before "However, we must point out that such a separation will cause competition between the two parents, over who is number 1 and who is number 2".

The amendment will be put to the Senate and if it is rejected, the government intends to return it to the National Assembly for a new discussion and consideration.
