A 47-year-old woman from Dakota, USA, was arrested as she allegedly poisoned her 51-year-old partner a few hours after he inherited $30 million.
As the New York Post reports, Ina Thea Kenoyer was arrested on October 30 on charges of murder against Edward Riley Jr.
According to filing documents, Riley became ill shortly after a Sept. 3 meeting with his attorney to proceed with a $30 million inheritance case.
The next day the 47-year-old called for help with the rescuers locating the unconscious 51-year-old. Riley was taken to a hospital where he ended up the next day, September 5th.
The autopsy on his corpse showed poisoning as the cause of death.
"The case is extremely complex," said a police spokesman, who thanked everyone who provided information to "close" the case.
