The 34-year-old congressman Cristian Nieto was shot dead in Ecuador a few minutes after he gave an interview to a circus full of children.
In a video posted on social media, children can be seen entering the circus when suddenly several shots and screams are heard.
Deputy deputy Cristhian Nieto and his wife were killed by gunfire on the night of the last Sunday (02) in the city of Manta, west of Ecuador.

Apart from Nieto, his wife and another person were killed by the unknown gunfire, while a journalist was injured.
The journalist, in fact, started calling for help while trying to protect herself: "I need help, an ambulance, I was shot in the arm."
Nieto was known in Ecuador by the nickname Rescate (salvation in Spanish) because he had offered help to several people, most of them drug addicts.
A few minutes before he fell dead, Nieto was telling reporters about the event that "it's a great success, we're full for three days."
According to information, the gunmen had entered the circus before opening fire on Nieto.
