The 30-year-old tattoo artist Shani Louk met a tragic death in Israel - where she had traveled for a music festival - when Hamas terrorists kidnapped her, murdered her and drove her lifeless body around like a trophy in a truck. In fact, from the videos posted on social media by "proud" members of Hamas, a relative of hers managed to recognize her as one of the characteristic tattoos she had on her leg can be seen.
In one of the last videos that have seen the light of day in the last few hours, Shani Louk can be seen dancing happily and carefree at the music festival that a little while later would turn into a pool of blood from the hundreds of victims. Moments later, the tattoo artist would be captured by Hamas terrorists and massacred along with 259 other festival-goers during their attack on Israel.
Watch her last dance:
Shani, who grew up in Israel but held a German passport, was a peace activist and conscientious objector, her aunt Orly Louk told German newspaper Der Spiegel. Orly said Shani had refused to do the military service that is mandatory for Israelis because of her pacifist views, adding that her German passport helped with that.
It is noted that a corresponding video of the incident is circulating on social media, which is however too harsh to broadcast.
Her body was later discovered in the back of a truck, desecrated and driven around with a chilling disregard for the sanctity of life. But the horror didn't end there. Images of Shani's corpse subsequently surfaced on various social networks, sparking outrage and condemnation.
The terrorists sat on her body, taunted her and some spat on them. Hamas had claimed the body was that of a female Israeli soldier - but last night it was confirmed by her cousin Tomasina Weintraub-Louk, who told MailOnline that the family recognized her distinctive leg tattoos and dreadlocked hair .

"We haven't heard anything. We hope for positive news. It's definitely Shani. He was at a peace music festival. This is a nightmare for our family," the woman said.
The music festival Shani was attending was one of the first places to be attacked by the terror group, with reports saying dozens of people were killed on the spot, while more were taken hostage by the militants.
In a second video widely shared on social media, a woman can be seen shouting: "Don't kill me" and riding away from a gunman on a motorbike.
