About 50 people were killed in the southern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo when a truck overturned and fell into a river, it became known today from the office of the governor of the province, where the tragedy unfolded.
The accident took place yesterday in Katanga province, the office of Governor Zak Kiaboula said in a statement. Only two passengers of the truck survived, according to the announcement.
