CCTV captured the moment a man shoots and kills his neighbor during an argument outside their homes in Costa Rica.

The shocking video shows a woman coming out of the garage and shouting at her neighbors from next door. At that moment the fourth person enters the shot, Otoniel Orozco Mendoza who ended up being the victim of the fight.

Cause of quarrel a common water clock.

As you will see as the arguments between the two couples continue unabated, Mendoza loses his temper and punches his neighbor and murderer, Eduardo Ramírez Zamora.

After Zamora begins to return the blows, he suddenly pulls out the gun hidden in the waistband of his pants and shoots Mendoza in front of the frightened eyes of his wife, who begins to scream.

“We heard a loud argument outside. When we looked outside, we saw that the neighbor was shooting the other neighbor, who unfortunately died,” a witness told the English-language Costa Rican newspaper Tico Times.

"She bothered him every time he went out, bothered the kids and his wife, made derogatory comments"

Zamora fired nine times before his wife pulled him away from the scene.

"As soon as he fell to the ground, the other continued to shoot him without fear," described an eyewitness.

"They even sued him and nobody did anything"
The tensions between the two couples seem to have reached an insurmountable level, as the problems between them had existed for years.

"He was bothering him every time he (Mendoza) went out, he was bothering the kids and his wife, he was making derogatory comments about his ethnicity," the unidentified witness said.

Mendoza had moved to Costa Rica from his native Nicaragua.

Despite the efforts of his neighbors, the victim was already dead. He suffered bullet wounds to the chest and legs.

A relative of Mendoza took issue with the local authorities as he said they never did anything to stop the intense arguments between the perpetrator and the victim.

"They've always had problems. This has been happening for a long time. They even sued him and nobody did anything," he told the newspaper. “I don't know what happened, only that they had a fight. I do not understand it. How is that possible;"

Local authorities arrested Zamora after the incident.
