Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today called on the United States and North Korea to begin talks, and said Moscow was ready to offer any facilities for the talks, in an interview with Ria Novosti.
Moscow has long called on Washington and Pyongyang to hold talks aimed at de-escalating tensions over North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry announced yesterday, Sunday, that the latest UN sanctions against North Korea are an act of war and amount to a complete economic embargo against the country.
