Moscow with its Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu.

We maintain a fairly intensive political dialogue, he said, adding that the two Presidents are in constant communication, while relations between the Ministries of Commerce, Economy and Transport are also actively developing.

He added that the rapid development of cooperation proves that Presidents Putin and Erdogan attach great importance to Russian-Turkish interaction.

His meeting with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mr. Lavrov said, was a good opportunity to assess the two countries' ties in all areas and "exchange views on urgent global issues", including the conflict in Syria.

Syria: Military solution illegal

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoλουlu has argued that any military solution to Syria would be illegal and unsustainable, stressing that his country, Russia and Iran could work together to help the Syrian people and that a new impetus is needed. to reach a political solution.

Damascus and Tehran, which support Damascus, and Ankara, which supports Syrian rebels, are the sponsors of the Astana process, which has mainly allowed the creation of four "de-escalation zones" in Syria.

But the search for a solution to the Syrian conflict, which has claimed the lives of more than 2011 people since 350.000, has been delayed mainly due to the conflicting interests of Moscow, Ankara and Tehran and differences over the fate of the Syrian president. Bashar al-Assad.

The previous summit of the three countries took place in early April in Ankara. Presidents Vladimir Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rohani had pledged to work together to achieve a "sustainable ceasefire" in Syria.
