The bombing followed an Israeli warning to the residents of a building in the area to leave.

More specifically, the Israeli army, through its Arabic-speaking spokesman, Avihai Andraee, posted a map of the Haret Hareik area and ordered citizens to move away from a building marked in red.

According to the IDF, a Hezbollah weapons depot located in the building was hit.
