At least 55 people were killed and 156 wounded by Israeli strikes on Tuesday in various areas of Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced late at night.

Shortly after midnight, the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) issued a new warning to residents of areas in Beirut's southern suburbs to evacuate as a matter of urgency in view of shelling to be launched against Hezbollah-linked targets.
