Intense mobility is recorded in the last hours in Libya. On the one hand, there are reports that Turkey has significantly strengthened its forces in the areas controlled by Fayez Al Saraj.
Arab media also reported, using satellite images, that in the past 24 hours, Ankara had sent to Libya additional armored vehicles, air defense systems, guns, ammunition, missiles, machine guns and other heavy military equipment.
On the other hand, great mobility is recorded in the areas controlled by Marshal Khalifa Haftar, with Turkish media reporting that Egypt has sent military equipment, while gathering large forces at the border. It is well known that Abdel Fattah al-Sisi warned that Sirte and Al Joufra were the red lines of Cairo and that a possible attack by the forces of Saraj and Skyr jihadists sent by Turkey there would lead to its military engagement. Libya's elected parliament has called for Cairo's military support in recent hours, giving the "green light" to Egypt's involvement in the Libyan civil war.
At the same time, in the last hours and many communications between leaders are recorded, mainly the one between the Egyptian President and his French counterpart, who, according to an announcement by Egypt, said that they will work together to prevent any external interference in the country. The so-called Council of Wise Men, which supports Caliph Haftar, is currently traveling to Cairo. An American military leader in the Middle East also met with the Egyptian military leadership earlier.
The condemnation of the Turkish actions by the Arab League is also considered an important development. Through his Secretary General, he spoke of illegal Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries, especially in Iraq, Syria and Libya, actions that threaten the entire Arab national security.
The developments are critical for the future of Libya and the Eastern Mediterranean by extension, with extensions that affect both Greece and Cyprus.
The conflict between Egypt (regular army) and Turkey (via proxies) is ambiguous as it is the 9th and 11th countries with the largest military power for 2020, according to Global Firepower.
With the difference that Turkey "lies" far away, even if Ankara with the illegal Turkish-Libyan memorandum invented common maritime borders between the two.
It is noted that while the preparations for the mother of the battles are taking place in Libya, in Al Bab of Syria, which is controlled by Turkey after the invasion, planes proceeded to bomb. Arab media talk about Russian planes that wanted to send a message to Turkey about the Libyan.
