Black is the smoke that came out at 1 pm on Thursday (Greece time) from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, where the Conclave is meeting to elect the 267th Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church.
As a result, the 133 cardinals did not elect a Pope in either the second or third ballot. Two afternoon ballots follow (around 17:30 p.m. and 19:00 p.m.).
Meanwhile, thousands of believers have gathered in St. Peter's Square, waiting to see the new Pope.
