The Italian government decided tonight that, from December 6, anyone who enters public transport without a negative coronavirus test or green pass will be fined from 600 to 1.000 euros.

The inspections will be carried out not only by the permanent inspectors, but also by police officers, carabinieri and police officers and men and women of the Italian financial police.

Draghi's Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgeze also called for the effective co-operation of all the country's trade unions to implement the measure that will not allow shops, cafes and restaurants to be closed to anyone who has not been vaccinated against the coronavirus (always from 6 December) to be strict and without any exceptions.
