Within 9 months Zara exceeded € 19 billion in sales

Industria de Diseno Textil SA (Zara) announced on Wednesday that sales growth accelerated further in the third and fourth quarters as stores reopened and online revenue continued to rise.

According to MarketWatch, the Spanish fashion group, known as Inditex, had net sales of 19,3 billion euros in the nine months to the end of October, indicating an amount of 7,36 billion euros for the third quarter. Analysts had expected quarterly sales of 7,31 billion euros, according to an average of 13 estimates compiled by FactSet.

At constant exchange rates, third quarter sales increased by 21% year on year and by 10% compared to the same period of the fiscal year 2019. For the current quarter until December 10, the same two-year revenue growth rate was maintained. , Inditex reported.

For the nine months, Inditex had net profits of 2,5 billion euros and EBITDA 5,4 billion euros. Online sales increased by 28% per year.
