Several people were injured this morning after two trains collided head-on in Denmark, according to local emergency services.
According to Danish media, a total of 17 people are reported to have been injured. Four are in critical condition according to the same information. All the injured have been removed from the scene by ambulances and helicopter.
As Reuters reports, the incident occurred near the town of Hillerød, north of Copenhagen, when two local trains collided under circumstances that are still unclear.
Earlier, a Fire Department spokesman reported that there were injured passengers, without providing details on their number or condition. He clarified that all passengers have been removed from the trains and there are no trapped passengers.
