A mother from Little Rock, Arkansas left her child in the car and went shopping. Unfortunately for her, a 15-year-old stole the vehicle, with the result that, in addition to the anxiety she had until her child was located, she also got involved in adventures with justice.
The mother, whose details were not made public, called the authorities as soon as she found out that her car was missing. While police were taking her statement, they were informed that her vehicle was seen in a nearby park.
When the patrol car arrived at the spot where the stolen car was located, the police saw a child coming out of the driver's seat and trying to escape into the forest. Shortly afterwards, the 15-year-old was located and arrested by officers.
Another person was in the car who managed to escape and at the moment remains unarrested.
"According to the police report, the young man is facing charges of theft and drug possession," the KATV television station reported.
The child, who was sitting tied to the car seat, was in good health and was handed over by the police to his father.
As for the mother, she also got involved in adventures with the authorities as she unnecessarily endangered her minor child by leaving him unattended in the car. He was arrested and charged with exposing a minor to danger.
