A bus crashed into a sidewalk in central Moscow, killing five people and injuring 5 others, according to Sputnik.
The causes of the accident remain unclear and an investigation has already been launched into the incident. However, the authorities rule out the possibility of being linked to terrorism.
The driver of the bus was arrested by the police, while the accident took place on one of the busiest streets in the Russian capital near the metro station (Slavyansky Boulevard). Today is a day of work for Russia, which celebrates Christmas on January 7.

"According to preliminary information, the bus fell into the underground passage of the subway at Slavyansky Bulvar station," Sputnik reports.
