Meanwhile, Poland announced that it had rushed to take off fighter jets to guarantee the safety of its airspace amid Russia's incursion into neighboring Ukraine.

"In the southeastern part of the country there may be high noise levels due to the start of operations by Polish and allied aircraft," the administration noted via X.
