New York - Wild attack: He grabbed her and threw her on the subway rails (Video)

The shocking moment when a 52-year-old woman was attacked by an unknown man in the New York subway was recorded by the station's security camera, and the local authorities are using the material in an attempt to locate the unconscious perpetrator.

According to the New York Post, the incident happened early last Sunday afternoon in the Bronx. In the video released by the NYPD, the perpetrator appears to be attacking the unsuspecting victim at Jackson Avenue Station.

The big man, wearing a hat and a white T-shirt, approached the woman from behind, grabbed her with both hands and threw her on the rails.

People at the station rushed to help the frightened woman get back on the platform, the train was far enough away and thus the tragedy was averted.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital with head and arm injuries, and her condition is stable.
