Former Cosa Nostra leader Toto Reina, one of the most notorious and violent godfathers of the Sicilian mafia, has died of cancer today, Italian media reported.
Reina, 87, who was serving 26 life sentences and allegedly ordered more than 150 murders, has been in a coma for the past few days, and his family was exceptionally allowed to visit him in jail to say goodbye.
