Israel has agreed to US President Donald Trump's proposal for a ceasefire with Iran after achieving the goal of removing the Iranian nuclear and ballistic missile threat, according to a statement posted today by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office.
Thanks to this war, Israel "eliminated an immediate dual existential threat: nuclear and ballistic," the Israeli government said in a statement, thanking US President Donald Trump and the United States for their defense support and participation in eliminating the Iranian nuclear threat.
"Israel will respond forcefully to any violation of the ceasefire," the statement added, released shortly after Trump announced that the ceasefire had come into effect.
