Donald Trump announced Tuesday his intention to anoint the world's richest man, Elon Musk, to head a new "Ministry of Government Efficiency" he plans to co-found with another Republican businessman, Vivek Ramaswamy.
"Together, these two great Americans will lead the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, cut excessive government restrictions, cut wasteful government spending and restructure federal agencies," the president-elect said via Truth Social, assuring that his two allies will cause a "shock to the system" of the public administration.
