The activists of "Madleen", which was seized by the Israeli army, are being taken to Ben Gurion Airport, with the country's Foreign Ministry threatening that "those who refuse to sign the deportation papers and leave Israel will be prosecuted."
"Its passengers have arrived at Ben Gurion Airport to depart Israel and return to their countries of origin. Some of the passengers of the 'Selfie Yacht' are expected to depart within the next few hours," the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced, reporting on X (formerly Twitter).
"Consuls from the passengers' countries of origin welcomed them at the airport," he claimed.
For its part, the Freedom Flotilla, in a statement, denounced the "kidnapping of the crew."
“Our kidnapped comrades in Madleen will briefly encounter a system where over 10.400 missing Palestinian prisoners are being held hostage illegally imprisoned by the Israeli occupation – an entity without jurisdiction, without legal basis and without the right to hold them hostage,” they noted, referring to Israel’s prisons.
It is worth noting that, in their statements, the members of "Madleen" have made it clear that they will persist until humanitarian aid is delivered to the long-suffering Palestinian people.
