A top Houthi official told Al Jazeera Mubasher television network today that the Yemeni rebels will intervene to support Iran in its military confrontation with Israel, as they did in a show of solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Mohammed al-Buhaiti, a member of the Houthi political bureau, said the movement is coordinating with Tehran as Iran's military confrontation with Israel escalates.
The Houthis announced on Sunday that they had launched two ballistic missiles against Israel, indicating for the first time that they acted in coordination with Iran's leadership.
