Former British secular Gileen Maxwell was found guilty Wednesday by a jury in New York of a series of sexual crimes, mainly for trafficking underage girls in favor of the late broker Jeffrey Epstein.
Ms Maxwell, 60, has been on trial in a Manhattan federal court since late November and faces six counts, most notably supplying girls to her ex-partner for sexual exploitation. Epstein died in prison in 2019. He faces up to tens of years in prison.
