Pope Francis continues to eat normally, without artificial support, according to Vatican sources, who emphasize that he spent a calm night and that no new press conference has been scheduled by the attending doctors at the moment.
The Holy See and the Agostino Gemelli Hospital in Rome also point out that "the entire treatment administered to the pontiff follows medical and not temporal criteria and logic."
At the same time, it was announced that they were given oxygen, while they continue to undergo physiotherapy.
Finally, in relation to reports in the Italian press that in the last three weeks, since Francis was admitted to the hospital, no photo of him has been distributed to journalists, Vatican sources report that "each person decides when and how to make images of him public" and that "some, however, would not be satisfied with any photo."
It is noted that the pontiff has been hospitalized for 21 days at the Gemelli Hospital in the Italian capital.
