According to what has become known, the 48-year-old man after a quarrel he had with his wife started walking from the area of ​​Como where he lived near the border of Italy with Switzerland. He managed to reach the Adriatic city of Fano, near Ancona.

There, police stopped him in order to check him, at 2 in the early hours of Tuesday, January 1st. During the search, they found out that his wife had reported his disappearance to the authorities a week earlier.

According to Italian media, the 48-year-old man was in poor condition and tired. However, he was completely clear and as he told the police he did not understand that he was walking for so many days. As he said, he was walking to "clear" his mind after the quarrel he had with his wife.

When asked what he ate every day of his wandering, he replied that strangers gave him food. Eventually his wife went to the town of Fano, picked him up and they returned home. In fact, the annoyed husband was asked to pay 400 euros as he "broke" the traffic ban between 10 at night and 5 at dawn.
