FYROM: Official opposition lawmakers leave

The Prespa Agreement seems to be in the air

The Prespa Accord in Skopje seems to be in the air, given that Prime Minister Zoran Zaef does not seem to be able to gather a two-thirds majority in Parliament at the moment in order to "pass" the Constitutional Review.

According to the media of the neighboring country, the deputies of the official opposition, VMRO, withdrew from the discussion and appealed to the government to follow them.

"The parliamentary group has concluded that there is no need for further discussion on the proposed constitutional changes to the Prespa Accord, which has been rejected by the people in a referendum," the For a Better Macedonia coalition said in a statement.
