Pyongyang has decided to cancel its annual rally against US imperialism this year, amid North Korea-US talks to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula and rekindle relations between the two countries.
It is noted that last year North Korean officials said they were "determined to destroy the American imperialists". North Korean officials who announced the cancellation of the event did not state the reasons for Kim Jong Un's decision, as reported by the Associated Press.
