The Kenneth Fire, abbreviated as the Kennis Fire, is the latest wildfire in Los Angeles, which has spread to about 50 acres on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, said on social media that 900 additional firefighters have been deployed to battle the flames.
Near the West Hills area, more than a square mile was charred within hours of igniting.
As reported by Sky News, the possibility of the fire being caused by arson is being investigated, as several citizens arrested someone in the West Valley area, near where the flames are burning.
Los Angeles Police Department investigators are investigating whether this person is responsible for the Kenneth fire, as well as his possible connection to other fires in the area.
