Polish President Karol Nawrotski stressed on Tuesday that his country is "ready to defend its territory" after the reported violation of its airspace by Russian drones.
"Poland will always react appropriately and is ready to defend its territory," Nawrotski said from the podium of the UN General Assembly. "Poles, and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, will not be afraid of Russian drones," he assured.
Poland's nationalist president stressed: "We will not allow Moscow's ruthless provocative actions against our country and other countries, which test our reactions and intimidate our societies."
Navrotsky's stern message from the UN General Assembly followed recent reports of violations of NATO airspace in Poland, Romania and Estonia. Russia has categorically denied any involvement.
