At least 1.700 buildings have collapsed in 10 Turkish cities, according to Fuat Oktay, the Turkish government's deputy prime minister.
In Sanliurfa, Turkey, two apartment buildings collapsed like paper towers.
According to Manolis Kostidis, journalist of SKAI, only in Gaziantep, where the epicenter of the earthquake was, 560 buildings have collapsed.
