Case record in Portugal - 20 deaths due to it covid-19

The General Directorate of Health of Portugal announced yesterday, Wednesday, a record 40.945 cases of SARS-CoV-2, with the total number of cases reaching 1.734.343.

At the same time, 20 patients succumbed to its complications COVID-19, with the death toll from the new coronavirus pandemic reaching 19.181 dead from the outbreak of the pandemic in the Iberian country.

In the past 24 hours, 71 people were admitted to hospitals and 14 to intensive care units (ICUs). A total of 1.635 people were in hospitals yesterday, 167 in serious condition.
