What a new book says about the French president's wife
According to the authors of the book "Madam President" referring to the first lady of France, Emmanuel Macron's collaborators are hoping for a sudden death of Brigitte Macron, in order to have more sympathy from the public.
The book, in which Brigitte Macron is described as a conspirator who pushed Macron to become president of France, is signed by Parisien political editors Ava Damsamidi and Natalie Souk.
"They dream of him dying," said a source close to the presidential couple, who said Macron would be more successful if he were alone. "For them, Macron as a sad widow will be wonderful. They are in love with him. "At night they dream that they manage to disappear (s.s. Brigitte Macron)", it is typically mentioned.
The book even names two of Macron's advisers, 31-year-old Ismail Emelien, the co-founder of "En Marche!" - the movement that brought Macron to power - and 33-year-old Stefan Sezurn, according to a Daily Mail article.
The authors of the book note, however, that it took guts and humor on the part of Brigitte Macron to be on the side of the French president. adding that "she has been ridiculed, insulted and gossiped about, finding her guilty of falling in love and marrying a man 24 years her junior."
