Even the Minister of Education intervened in the matter

The highly racist tactics of an elementary school teacher against a black student have provoked strong reactions in Italy.

As it became known, the teacher at a school in the city of Folinio punished the unfortunate student by looking out of the window and with his back to his classmates. He then urged the other students to see "how ugly he is"!

Even the Minister of Education intervened in the matter, announcing that all the necessary measures have been taken, while as it became known, the teacher was made available.

The story was made public by an MP from the Italian Left, Nicolas Fratoyanni, who took the story to the national parliament. At the same time, the child's parents turned to a lawyer with the support of many other parents, suing the teacher.

He claimed that his act was part of a social experiment against racism, but without convincing anyone. As he put it, "this is a social experiment, similar to others that can be found on the internet" and that "he really wanted to show children how unjust racist behavior can be".

The mayor of Folinio, at the same time, announced that he had spoken with the school principal and that "all the required checks will be carried out".
