Turkey will not hesitate to exercise its rights stemming from international agreements on the challenges in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean, according to a statement from Turkey's National Security Council (NSC).
The meeting, chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, lasted 3 hours and 15 minutes. The statement also said that the measures taken to ensure the safe conduct of the June 24 elections were discussed.
It also notes that countries that openly or covertly support terrorist organizations must act in accordance with international law. It added that Turkey would continue to support the Palestinian cause.
