A strong earthquake occurred shortly after 12:00 today in Antalya, Turkey, with initial reports indicating that the tremor was particularly felt.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5,1 on the Richter scale, while its focal depth is estimated at 95 kilometers.
The epicenter of the tremor is located 176 kilometers southwest of Iconium, and just 17 kilometers east-northeast of Antalya.
