The Finnish capital, Helsinki, may host a summit between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, according to a US official.
At the weekend, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo hinted that the two leaders would meet shortly after John Bolton, Trump's national security adviser, paid a visit to Moscow this week.
Russian media, citing sources in the Kremlin, reported last week that no meeting is scheduled before the NATO summit in Brussels (July 11-12), which Trump is expected to attend.
