Sweden will send Ukraine a new package of military support worth 2,2 billion kroner ($199 million), mainly including ammunition and spare parts for systems it had already delivered, Defense Minister Pal Jonsson said today.
The new military aid package will be the 14th that Sweden has sent to Ukraine since the start of the war, bringing the total value of this type of Swedish aid to over 22 billion kroner.
Jonsson also told a news conference that the government has formally asked the armed forces to consider whether Sweden can send Jas Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine.
